Hi! My name is Mia Coleman. I graduated from Newton High School, where I played basketball for four years — and I’ve been playing the game for a total of seven years! I was blessed with the opportunity to play college basketball at Northwestern College and Newman University, but God had other plans and led me down a different path.

I currently work as a Dental Assistant at Health Ministries Clinic, and I also coach third and fourth grade girls' basketball, which I absolutely love. Coaching has given me a chance to give back and inspire young athletes the same way my coaches inspired me.

A few fun facts about me: my favorite food is chicken Alfredo, I love ice cream, and my favorite colors are pink and orange. I’m a dog mom to a mini Goldendoodle, and I have six siblings who keep life fun and lively. I’m also certified in USA Basketball and Youth Fitness, and I truly enjoy being around kids and meeting new people.
