YOGA

Yoga is a group of physical, spiritual, and mental practices that originated in ancient India. It is a form of exercise aimed at controlling your body and mind. In brief, yoga strives to connect and center your breathing, body, and mind by doing a series of coordinated poses. Yoga has transcended over time and developed into many different forms from its ancient beginnings. Many studios often create or offer new forms of yoga to benefit clients--Purely Moore Fitness is no exception. We offer Slow-Flow Yoga, Power Yoga, Chair Yoga, our own Lotus Yoga, and yoga for children. All yoga classes cap at 8 participants.

CLASSES:

  • Slow Flow Yoga (45 minutes): Slow Flow Yoga combines elements of Yin Yoga to target muscles and improve flexibility. It includes a series of poses held by the client to stretch and release deep connective tissue. Our Slow Flow Yoga incorporates fluidity of movement to bring an additional fitness element to the practice and provide clients with a restorative and effective workout.

  • Power Yoga (45 minutes): Power Yoga is a rigorous, fast-paced form of yoga combining intense yoga sequences and athletic training to challenge the body and build muscle strength. This form of yoga emphasizes flexibility, balance, physical strength, and cardiovascular fitness.

  • Chair Yoga (45 minutes): This is an excellent form of yoga for anyone wanting to practice yoga but unable to stand for long periods of time. This gentle form of yoga clients to improve flexibility, balance, and coordination, as well as build strength. Participants do a modified, seated form of yoga.

  • Lotus Yoga (50 minutes): Designed with the lotus pose in mind, Lotus Yoga is unique to Purely Moore Fitness. This form of yoga focuses on flexibility, balance, and connective breathing. This meditative form of yoga is a slow, energy infused form using a series of coordinated poses to engage clients. Clients can expect a bright environment, use of props, and a holistic yoga approach.

  • Mommy and Me Yoga (45 minutes): is the perfect chance to interact with your little one while getting in a safe low impact workout. This form of yoga creates a fun, energetic, and collaborative environment between child and parent. It's a great way to allow little ones to develop muscle, flexibility, and balance, while giving moms a full workout. This is also a great opportunity to develop social interaction skills. Children must be at least 6 months of age to be in class.

  • Lotus Yoga--Youth (50 minutes) (AGES 6 and up): A yoga class designed for youth. This is a beginner yoga class for kids to learn and explore the fundamentals of yoga. Yoga classes are developed to give participants an opportunity to develop mental focus, self-awareness, and fitness skills. Various genres of Yoga will be explored but the class will predominately focus on Hatha yoga for budding yogis.

  • Tiny Lotus Yoga (Preschool) (45 minutes): A class developed to let your little one Zen out and learn the basics of yoga. It will give preschoolers a chance to build mental focus, as well as physical strength and coordination by learning basic yoga poses.

PRICING

Purely Moore Fitness offers several pricing options to give clients the most tailored and convenient experience possible.

  • Drop-in fee for a class is $15.00--single, one-time class.

  • Packages are available for anyone preferring to buy "credits" instead of committing to a monthly membership. You essentially buy a class in bulk. One Class = One Credit.

  • Memberships are available for those who want to fully commit to classes each week. Membership plans offer extra incentives for clients. They also provide discounts for multiple classes and family plans.

Memberships and Packages
