SPORTS CLASSES

Purely Moore Fitness offers sports classes and training for several different types of sports, including basketball, tennis, and track. As instructors become available, we will expand our selection of sports training options. The current programs we offer are available to athletes at all skill levels. Participants can expect to work on everything from fundamental skills to more advanced drills. These classes also allow participants to work in a group setting, which is a key component of any sport. Instructors do adjust classes to meet the needs of each athlete, but please make sure to follow age and skill guidelines in the class description before enrolling to ensure your child receives the best instructions suited to their needs. The maximum number enrolled for each class is 8. Most sports classes are 1 hour in length.

CLASSES

  • Tennis Prep (1 hour) (Age Requirement: 3rd grade and up): An introductory class for any participant wanting to learn the game of tennis. Participants will learn the basics of the sport, work on technique and form, and basic tennis conditioning. This is a high energy; fun class designed to give youth a better grasp of tennis and improve play.

  • Track Prep (1 hour) (Age Requirement: 6th grade and up): This class is designed for any participant wanting to learn about track. Participants will work on conditioning, technique, form, and basic drills to enhance skills. This is a great for anyone wanting to learn or improve track performance.

  • Track Conditioning (45 minutes) (6th grade and up): Class is designed to work specifically on the strength and conditioning athletes need for track and cross country. Participants can expect to work on proper breathing, running mechanics, strength training, coordination, and endurance. Speed and agility drills are also a large focus during class.

  • Little Ballers (1 hour) (AGES: 1st grade and up) Beginner basketball class designed to teach participants basic basketball skills including ball handling, dribbling, foot work, shooting technique, and endurance. This is a great developmental class for any young athlete looking to learn the game of basketball. No experience is necessary.

  • Junior Ballers (1 hour) (AGE: Middle School and up): Class is designed for basketball players or enthusiasts at an intermediate level of play. Participants will work on improving basketball skills, including but not limited to, foot work, hand-eye coordination, dribbling, shooting, passing, plyometrics and more. Class will also include conditioning and strength training necessary for the sport.

  • Ballers (1 hour) (AGE SUGGESTION: Based on level of skill): Advanced basketball class designed for players wanting to continue working on improving performance and basketball skills. This class will focus on skill progression, fitness training, speed/agility required for basketball, strength, and conditioning. Class is suitable for basketball players and anyone with a more advanced knowledge of basketball.

Purely Moore Fitness offers several pricing options to give clients the most tailored and convenient experience possible.

The main offerings page will allow you to purchase a single class if you desire. You can also always stop by the studio to enroll if you prefer. It is highly recommended youth are set up with a membership. A membership ensures they receive one class a week. Consistency helps youth develop and advanced skills.

  • Drop-in fee for a class is $15.00--single, one-time class.

  • Packages are available for anyone preferring to buy "credits" instead of committing to a monthly membership. You essentially buy a class in bulk. One Class = One Credit.

  • Memberships are available for those who want to fully commit to classes each week. Membership plans offer extra incentives for clients. They also provide discounts for multiple classes and family plans.
