At Purely Moore Fitness we believe in hiring the best to deliver you the best fitness and athletic classes possible. All PMF Lead Instructors are certified in their areas of interest through nationally accredited institutions, hold CPR/AED certification, and have years of experience. In addition to our Lead Instructors, PMF also hires exceptional young athletes to help assist in some of our youth classes. Our Assistant Instructors are experienced athletes, required to go through an intense two-week training period, work closely with Lead Instructors, and maintain a CPR/AED certification. We also require ALL front staff to have CPR and safety certifications. Your safety, well-being, fitness, and health are our top priorities, and we want your experience here to be fun, engaging, productive, and effective towards achieving your fitness goals.
How does the enrollment process work?
We have tons of enrollment options. If you have a monthly membership you receive "credits" for the membership. Those credits purchase your classes for the month, meaning you will have to re-enroll after the month, but your membership automatically renews if you want it to. We also offer series events where you can enroll for classes in 4-month increments, depending on the event. Event series are always setup on a payment plan for your benefit.
We allow you to enroll in a single class, multiple classes, etc. You honestly have several options, but if you need help just reach out to staff and we will be happy to assist you.

How much is an individual monthly membership?
An individual monthly membership is $50.00 a month for one class a week. Your monthly membership also qualifies you for free access to all open gyms, advanced access to upcoming events and enrollment options, and discounts in the Lotus Shop.
What if I want to cancel a membership?
We hope you do not cancel your membership, but in the event you need to you can cancel at any time. Monthly payments are withdrawn on the 15th of each month. If you need to cancel for any reason, you will need to make sure you do so before the 15th of the month to avoid being charged.
Do you offer other membership options and family plans?
YES! Purely Moore Fitness offers several membership options, including family plans and multiple class discounts. Check out our Memberships and Pricing page for full details.
Do I have to have a monthly membership, or do you offer other options?
No, you do not have to purchase a monthly membership. You can purchase a drop-in card to drop in to classes you want to try or pay a single drop-in fee to try a class. Drop-in fees are $15.00. This option does not include any additional member perks.
Purchasing a membership or package also gives you a discount on classes.
Can I attend open gyms if I am not a member?
Yes, you can. Open gym fees are $10.00 each time you attend as a non-member.
Do I have to sign a waiver if I am just dropping in for a class?
YES! A waiver is required for all PMF classes, open gyms, personal training, athletic training, and private lessons regardless of membership status.
Do I have to take classes, or can I sign up for athletic training, personal training, or private lessons without doing structured classes?
You can sign up for personal training, private lessons or athletic training at any time with our staff. Payments and scheduling for privates is set by the instructor you choose. If you ask front desk or a staff member for information regarding privates, they will be happy to pass along the information you need to schedule lessons. You can also click on each individual instructor's profile to gain information regarding private lessons, scheduling, and cost. Signing up for private lessons does NOT qualify you for membership benefits. You are only considered a member if you pay a monthly membership fee.
Is my information protected?
Yes. We take privacy very seriously at PMF. Your privacy is always guarded at the facility. Furthermore, our website has safeguards in place to protect your information. We also use Stripe for all credit transactions and online purchases.
If I miss a class do I get a refund?
No, to keep scheduling running smoothly we do not offer refunds or prorated amounts for missed classes. However, when you sign up for a membership you receive credits assigned to that membership. For example, if you pay for an individual monthly membership, your purchase gives you four credits a month. If you do not use the credit, you still have it and can use it another time.
What does your collaboration with the Newton Recreation Commission entail and are Rec clients considered members?
The owner of PMF is a seasoned gymnastics and cheerleading coach. It was her goal to offer gymnastics and cheerleading opportunities to everyone at an affordable cost. The collaboration between PMF and the Newton Recreation Commission (NRC) allows NRC gymnastics and cheerleading classes to be hosted at the Purely Moore Fitness facility. NRC clients traveling to PMF for classes are considered NRC clients. NRC classes run on a different schedule and payment structure than PMF classes. NRC clients are not considered PMF members. What is your media/photo policy?
During enrollment you do sign a media waiver. The waiver outlines the facility policies regarding photos and videos during classes. PMF has a strict NO photos or videos policy. Your privacy is important to us. You will have opportunities to take photos or videos during controlled events and with advanced notice. PMF will also, on occasion, take photos/videos for promotional purposes, but always with prior notice. Please note, we do have security cameras in place inside and outside the facility for security purposes.
